I-FEEDER TECHNOLOGIES — PRODUCT WARRANTY

12-Month Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

I-Feeder Technologies warrants its equipment against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms below.

During the warranty period, I-Feeder Technologies will, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, repair or replace any component confirmed by I-Feeder to have failed as a result of a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty covers: defects in materials or manufacture arising during normal use of the equipment within its published operating specifications.

The warranty does not cover: normal wear and routine maintenance; diaphragms, seals, O-rings, valve seats, check balls and other normal service or wear components unless failure results from a manufacturing defect; damage caused by incorrect installation, commissioning or electrical connection; operation outside specified pressure, flow, temperature or electrical limits; dry running where the equipment is not designed for dry running; chemical incompatibility, corrosion, crystallisation, sediment, contamination or abrasive materials; blocked suction or discharge lines, filters or valves; incorrect chemical mixing or product concentration; misuse, neglect, accident or improper maintenance; unauthorised modifications or repairs; or damage caused by external equipment, power supply irregularities, water supply conditions or other circumstances outside I-Feeder’s reasonable control.

Warranty claims

A warranty claim should include the equipment model and serial number, proof of purchase, installation details and a description of the fault. Photographs, videos or operating information may be requested to assist with diagnosis.

I-Feeder may require equipment or components to be returned to an I-Feeder authorised service centre for inspection before a warranty claim is approved.

Where permitted by applicable law, equipment returned for inspection should be appropriately cleaned, made safe for handling and free from hazardous chemical residue.

Freight and service costs

For claims falling under this manufacturer’s warranty, responsibility for transport, removal, reinstallation, travel and on-site service costs will be determined by I-Feeder based on the circumstances of the claim and applicable law.

This provision does not limit any statutory right requiring a supplier to bear such costs.

Chemical compatibility

The purchaser is responsible for confirming that the chemical or product being dosed is compatible with the pump’s wetted components, unless I-Feeder has expressly confirmed the application in writing.

A recommendation of equipment capacity or sizing does not, by itself, constitute confirmation of chemical compatibility.

System operation

I-Feeder equipment must be installed, commissioned, operated and maintained in accordance with the applicable product manual, technical specifications and installation instructions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I-Feeder Technologies will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from equipment failure, including loss of crop, production, product, revenue or profit.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Statutory rights

This manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available to the purchaser under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 applies, the purchaser may have additional rights, including the implied warranty of quality provided by section 56 of the Act.
