Heading back to NAMPO after 4 years — and it feels personal

Returning to NAMPO: Ready to reconnect, reflect, and push forward.

Time flies, but connections remain.

After four years away, I’m truly excited to return to NAMPO Harvest Day from 13–15 May. This isn’t just another show — it’s a place where friendships are rekindled, where handshakes turn into conversations, and where you’re reminded how small (and special) the agri world really is.

I’m looking forward to catching up with familiar faces like Patrick Ellis and Theuns Dreyer, and finally to those I’ve built strong remote relationships with, like Ramsay Geha, Rudi Koekemoer, and Henning Stander.

Of course, not every familiar face will be there. The absence of great friends like Alan Edwards and John Atkinson will be deeply felt.

All of this makes NAMPO the perfect venue to discuss what’s next — in technology, partnerships, and global agri solutions. When the pressure is off and people are present, that’s when new ideas and deals are born.

If you’ll be there, let’s talk. I’m keen to explore collaborations, exchange insights, and contribute to shaping where agri goes from here.
